SOUTHERN CHILE

Patagonia.

Torres del Paine, the Aysén fjords, glaciers and estancias, Patagonia is Chile’s wild southern frontier and its most iconic landscape. We run private, lodge-based programs built around the region’s best guides and flagship properties.

Who it suits

Luxury travelers, photographers, honeymooners, and active guests who want dramatic landscapes with real comfort at the end of the day.

Trip style

Guided hikes including the W-trek, glacier and fjord navigation, wildlife viewing, and horseback riding, based from lodges inside or overlooking Torres del Paine.

Ideal add-ons

Santiago and wine country for a softer extension, the Lake District for a gentler landscape, or a crossing into Argentine Patagonia via El Calafate.

Planning notes

Best roughly October to April. Reached by flight from Santiago to Puerto Natales or Punta Arenas, then transfer to the park. Flagship lodges such as Explora, Tierra Patagonia, Awasi, and Las Torres book 9 to 12 months ahead in high season.

Frequently Asked Questions

Plan on at least four to five days in Torres del Paine to see the highlights without rushing. A week or more allows for the full W-trek, fjord navigation, and quieter corners. Because getting there takes most of a travel day, build that into the count.

The main season runs roughly October to April, with the warmest, longest days from December to February. Shoulder months (October–November and March–April) bring fewer crowds and beautiful light. Winter is quiet and cold, with limited lodge availability.

By flight from Santiago to Puerto Natales or Punta Arenas, then a transfer to the park. We arrange the flights, the transfer, and the timing so it all connects.

Not necessarily. Patagonia rewards active travelers with hikes like the W-trek, but there are plenty of gentler options like scenic drives, short walks, boat trips, and wildlife viewing so we build the pace around each guest.

Flagship lodges inside or overlooking Torres del Paine, such as Explora, Tierra Patagonia, Awasi, and Las Torres. These book up 9 to 12 months ahead in high season, so early planning matters.

Yes. Patagonia pairs naturally with the Atacama for contrast, or with Santiago and wine country for a softer finish. We handle the internal flights and the routing.
