Our Story
Francisco and Connie Poblete spent more than thirty years in the United States before moving to Chile in 2009, to explore the country where Francisco was born. The plan was four years. The lifestyle and the countryside changed that, and they stayed.
As newcomers, they saw untapped potential in Chile’s tourism. Visitors did the standard tours, and the country’s best experiences went unseen. So in 2014 they founded Chile Wine Travel. They designed their own wine programs and helped several wineries open to tourism for the first time. Word spread. Over the years, international advisors and tour operators came to trust them with their most important clients.
Traveling the country and receiving its visitors built knowledge that cannot be searched. Which hotels, wineries, and restaurants deliver, and when a phone call solves what an email never will. Every trip is designed from that knowledge, so the service holds from arrival to departure.
Chile Travel Services was founded to bring proven service to all of Chile. Behind it are the same team advisors have trusted for over a decade, and a growing network of hotels, guides, and drivers from Atacama to Patagonia, each one met and vetted in person before a guest ever sees them. Every guest should feel genuinely welcomed and leave with a real connection to Chile, its people and culture, not just its landmarks.
Francisco Poblete
Founder
Francisco built his career in senior IT and operations leadership. Today he runs day to day operations, the company’s technology and online presence, and the service training behind every trip. He personally inspects the hotels, restaurants, and experiences that go into a client’s itinerary.
Connie Poblete
Co-founder
Connie brings a corporate background in human resources and operations. She leads accounting, client management, and communications, and is the organized, fast-answering contact advisors deal with on every program.

We design our own experiences, winemaker lunches, private chefs, sommelier guided tastings, and outdoor adventures, built in partnership with local communities so every program helps those communities grow.

We give back to the places we live and work, rescuing animals, planting and protecting trees, and helping where help is needed. It’s how we were raised.
